A charity event to raise money for Cheetah conservation programs in Africa.
Cocktails for Cheetah Garden Party offers the opportunity to interact with the one of the world’s most engaging
conservationist while helping save the Cheetah, which has sadly become Africa’s most endangered big cats.
With just 7,100 wild Cheetahs remaining, if people do not act now, the species could disappear from the Earth in the next 15 to 20 years. “We are sounding a loud warning cry, otherwise we may lose cheetahs during our lifetimes,” said Dr. Marker, co-author of “Disappearing spots: the global decline of cheetah and what it means for conservation,” a report published Dec. 26, 2016, in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Alarmingly, the study revealed Cheetahs have lost more than 92-percent of their total numbers in just the last 100 years. The main reasons are conflict and habitat loss, problems that can be attributed mainly to human interference. Money raised at this event will support research, education and outreach, and habitat restoration programs aimed at helping cheetahs in southern Africa rebound and outrun extinction.

Please secure the future of the Cheetah with your kind donation which is welcome online or at the door. Click here to RSVP
